"Kihata Grub" was born from the fusion of a hog and a grub, designed for shore fishing targeting "Kihata" (Yellow Grouper), as well as other grouper species. Its bulky body is designed to maintain balance even with a 30g heavy Texas rig, suppressing lift and providing a substantial presence. The distinctive thick tail generates strong vibrations even with its small size. When rigged with an offset hook, it contributes to stable flight posture and improved casting distance. To enable strategies tailored to the target's prey, ease of use regardless of the rig was pursued. It demonstrates high versatility for various approaches, such as swimming with a jig head rig when the main bait is small fish or squid, and bottom bumping with a Texas rig when targeting crustaceans. Two sizes are available. The 4-inch size is effective for more delicate targeting, while the 4.5-inch size is effective when using heavier weights or utilizing its own weight to explore further and deeper. The best matching hook sizes are #1/0 for the 4-inch and #2/0 for the 4.5-inch.
