Staff Comments: The Golden Era Series 000-18, produced from 2006 to 2013, has arrived. This model aims to reproduce Martin's Golden Era of the 1930s and was positioned as the top-tier mahogany model before the Authentic Series was released. It features a solid Adirondack spruce top, which is very rare today, and solid genuine mahogany for the back and sides.
It employs 1934-style scalloped X-bracing, which produces rich volume and a balanced tone despite its small body size.
The playability is good, and it rings clearly in all positions. There are minor scratches, wood stains, and imperfections due to use.
There is a slight storage odor.
