We developed this original wooden toy from Kimura, a toy maker, with the desire to have children connect with Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage site, from infancy.
This wooden toy is made with a commitment to local production for local consumption, using cypress grown at the foot of Mt. Fuji, designed by a Mt. Fuji designer, and handmade by a Mt. Fuji artisan.
The peak is represented by joining birch and cypress, but the texture is surprisingly smooth, and the joint is imperceptible to the touch.Each piece is carefully carved and finished with safe paints, so it is safe even if your baby puts it in their mouth.
The smooth texture and the scent of cypress will gently envelop your baby with the warmth of wood.In the unlikely event that it is disassembled and put in the mouth, we have used azuki beans as the filling for peace of mind.
