This product features a traditional craft from Gifu, which is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The beauty of Yuzen dyeing is expressed on Japanese paper, called "Yuzen paper."
As exemplified by kimono Yuzen dyeing, Yuzen patterns are vividly dyed with many colors to create painting-like designs.
This ballpoint pen is printed with silk on Mino washi paper, preserving the unique texture of traditional Yuzen, and encased in resin.

Thanks to the abundant water sources in the mountains, Gifu Prefecture is traversed by the first-class rivers Kiso River, Ibi River, and Nagara River. The washi paper made with this clean water has been cherished in Japan since the Nara period.
The beautiful Mino Yuzen Washi, a traditional craft, embodies Japan’s warm cultural spirit. It was produced using Mino Washi paper made in Gifu and finished in Kyoto.
