This is a traditional craft from Gifu, registered as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. It features the beauty of Yuzen dyeing expressed on Washi paper, called "Yuzen paper."
As exemplified by Kimono Yuzen dyeing, Yuzen patterns are vividly dyed using many colors to create painting-like designs.
The ballpoint pen is printed with silk on Mino Washi, retaining the unique texture of traditional Yuzen, and is encased in resin.
