This work, with the theme of "love and loss" in life, was produced as the soundtrack for a fictional film.
It was completed through a process of repeated exchanges of songs between Jason and the screenwriter, and abstract, metaphorical photographs expressing each scene and song were also fed back into the work.
"Through experiments with this script, the songs came to need a more direct relationship with words and stories. That way, they link with the visuals/story. They actually became a driving force."
The emotions in various everyday situations are wonderfully expressed with the delicate yet dynamic sound characteristic of Cinematic, and guest vocalists such as Fontella Bass, Lou Rhodes, and Patrick Watson, who also collaborated on the previous work, participate, further vividly projecting a cinematic space into the listener's mind.
