Kanji Ishimaru's long-awaited second album features a collection of gem-like masterpieces with the theme of "love." In addition to original songs depicting scenes of love between men and women, recorded with full preparation, it also includes love songs filled with deep emotion from his new representative works, the musicals "Elisabeth" and "GOLD ~Camille and Rodin~." Furthermore, he has newly recorded "Sous le ciel de Paris" (Under the Parisian Sky), a worldwide hit by the renowned French singer Henri Salvador, which was performed on NHK BS Premium's "Tabi no Chikara" (The Power of Travel), with Ryota Komatsu on the bandoneon. Additionally, in deep admiration and respect for Charlie Chaplin, it includes the masterpiece "Eternally" from the film "Limelight" and "You Are the Song" (the phantom theme song for the unfinished film "The Freak"). From film music, it also includes numerous eternal love songs such as Michel Legrand's "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" and "Summer of '42." As a bonus track, two special songs from the musical and film, recorded live from the popular concert "Musical Meets Symphony 2013" held at Suntory Hall in February 2013 with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, are included.
