This product is sold in "Ujitawara," a premier production area and the birthplace of green tea. It offers a sweetness characteristic of Gyokuro, followed by a slight astringency that cleanses the palate.
**About Gyokuro:**Gyokuro is what "Ujicha" excels at. Our Gyokuro has a mouthfeel that can even be described as viscous, and a surprisingly rich sweetness, truly a "supreme masterpiece." The umami components abundant in Gyokuro are extracted with low-temperature water. Therefore, please brew it slowly and carefully with water that is quite lukewarm, around 40-50°C.
**Brewing Instructions (for 3 servings):**Pour hot water at 60-70°C into the teapot, then pour it into the teacups to cool the water to 40-60°C. Add 2 heaping tablespoons (10g) of tea leaves to the teapot.Pour the water from the teacups into the teapot, and observe the movement of the tea leaves without closing the lid.It is ready to be served after 1-2 minutes, when it turns a light green color.Pour the tea into the cups, rotating to ensure an even concentration.*For the second infusion, increase the water temperature and shorten the steeping time.*The third infusion can also be enjoyed with sufficient flavor.
