24-hour continuous recording compatible, Time Shift Machine compatible external hard disk

An external hard disk compatible with Toshiba TV REGZA X9400 series / Z740X series and Toshiba REGZA Blu-ray Disc Recorder DBR-M series, supporting the Time Shift Machine. The Time Shift Machine allows recording of terrestrial digital TV programs on a hard disk connected to the TV without scheduling, with the ability to record all 6 channels for about 80 hours in the case of 4TB. Easy connection by simply plugging the USB cable into the TV/recorder.

Recording guidelines when used as a Time Machine

When recording all 6 channels of terrestrial digital broadcasts at HD rate. Actual recording time varies depending on the device and program. There are capacity limitations depending on the TV model. Please check your TV specifications when using for TV recording. BS/110-degree CS digital broadcasts are not supported. During maintenance of the Time Machine shift function, recording will be interrupted.

Adopts an AV command-compatible hard disk that enables 24-hour continuous recording. The AV commands, developed for digital home appliances requiring real-time recording and playback processing, execute commands in real-time on the hard disk to ensure stable recording and playback of programs.


Efficient cooling of the drive

Considered airflow paths that increase flow velocity for smooth heat dissipation with an "air cooling structure". Also employs a "double deck air flow structure" with air intake at the bottom whether placed horizontally or vertically. Does not include a noisy cooling fan, maintaining quiet and stable operation.

The main unit is not bus-powered; please use the included AC adapter.


Power linkage with TV/recorder

Features a power linkage function that automatically turns the product on/off with the TV or recorder. Also monitors hard disk access status and, if no access occurs for a certain period, stops the hard disk motor to reduce power consumption.
