Following this, the band embarked on a large-scale European tour of 82 performances in 1979-80. During this tour, their concert on August 20, 1980, in Nottingham, UK, was recorded and broadcast for a BBC Radio program. This release is a live album using the sound source from that broadcast, featuring a selection of carefully chosen songs, including cover songs and encores. The live performance perfectly establishes the band's future direction with their top-speed hard rock and roll sound, unique to Motörhead's trio formation of guitar, bass, and drums. Includes 8 additional rare live archive tracks from Toronto, Canada in 1982, featuring Brian Robertson of Thin Lizzy on guitar, as bonus tracks.
