"B'z LIVE-GYM 2022 -Highway X-" was a tour full of firsts for B'z, including an album release late in the tour and the pre-release of lyrics for all songs.
Furthermore, the LIVE DVD & Blu-ray of the final performance at Pia Arena MM, which was finally reached after a challenging journey including the postponement of the final show due to suspected COVID-19 infection in Koshi Inaba, is finally released!
This work includes a total of 21 songs, primarily featuring songs from the album "Highway X," which gained more depth with each performance on the tour, starting with the opening number "SLEEPLESS," characterized by its impactful guitar riff that shatters the silence. Hit songs such as "ultra soul," "Ichibu to Zenbu," and "He, Hashiru" are also fully incorporated.
During the performance of "Hadashi no Megami," where a large "Highway X" object with messages from fans across the country was introduced, a technical difficulty occurred, causing the screen to not display video. However, they created a positive atmosphere in the venue with a surprise encore performance of the same song.
Their unwavering forward-looking attitude symbolizes B'z, who have continued to run without change even in a chaotic world. This moving visual work, spanning approximately two and a half hours, is filled with glimpses of the scenery that lies even further ahead.
