Iggy Pop is one of the most influential figures in the rock world. From the late 1960s to the early 1970s, he was active as the vocalist of The Stooges. His provocative sound and stage presence laid the foundation for punk rock. Afterwards, he pursued a solo career. Notably, the albums *The Idiot* and *Lust for Life*, both produced by David Bowie in 1977, are shining classics in rock history. Although Iggy is now in his late 70s, he continues to actively perform. This time, a live performance by Iggy Pop has been released.
Titled *Live at Montreux Jazz Festival 2023*, this work features a recording of Iggy’s performance at the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival. Of the 17 songs, 9 are from his time with The Stooges / Iggy and The Stooges, with the remaining tracks from *The Idiot*, *Lust for Life*, and others—an excellent selection for fans. Iggy’s vocals, as well as the energetic backing band, deliver a powerful performance! It is a proud display of the original punk rock spirit.
