● Rich in nutritious kinako (roasted soybean flour)!
Kinako, made from soybeans, contains plant-based estrogens called soybean isoflavones (a type of polyphenol), soybean saponins that protect the body, lecithin that helps regulate eating habits, calcium, and abundant plant-based proteins. Additionally, kinako is rich in iron (non-heme iron). It contains not only soluble dietary fiber but also insoluble dietary fiber, which is about four times more than burdock root.

The inulin in Jerusalem artichoke is a storage polysaccharide unique to the Asteraceae family. Unlike starch, it dissolves in hot water and, through digestion, becomes a type of oligosaccharide called Jerusalem artichoke oligosaccharide (Inulo-oligosaccharide), supporting a healthy lifestyle.
Most kinako-coated candies use regular kinako powder, but "Daijoubu na Mono" repeatedly requested prototypes from factories and challenged the use of costly organic Jerusalem artichoke powder to enhance the guilt-free quality. ● High-quality beet sugar syrup chosen instead of starch syrup
"Beet sugar" is sugar produced from the roots of sugar beets.
Beet sugar syrup is made by removing impurities from the juice extracted from sugar beet roots and then boiling down the juice. Because it is produced with the molasses component intact, it contains nutrients such as minerals.
There are various grades of beet sugar syrup. "Daijoubu na Mono" selected the highest grade of beet sugar syrup produced in Bihoro, Hokkaido. It is a rich, flavorful syrup finished with the essence of beet molasses.
● Very few candies use beet oligosaccharides
Beet sugar naturally contains oligosaccharides, which serve as food for beneficial bacteria like Bifidobacteria. We deliberately chose beet oligosaccharide, a sugar component extracted from beet sugar, to add sweetness.
Compared to starch syrup, beet oligosaccharide is much more expensive, and most commercially available candies do not use it.
