How to Use KandSon's Fish Gelatin Effectively

Recommended Usage Amount
4 grams of gelatin (approximately 2%) per 200 grams of liquid at around 40°C.
Usage Example
(1) Soak the gelatin in about 40°C liquid (hot water, soy milk, milk, fruit juice, etc.) for about 5 minutes to allow it to bloom.
(2) Heat over low heat, stirring to prevent burning, until it reaches about 60°C.
(3) Once it reaches 60°C, turn off the heat and continue stirring for about 15 minutes until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
(4) Once the gelatin is fully dissolved, pour it into a mold and let it cool to room temperature.
(5) Once cooled to room temperature, refrigerate to set.
Precautions
* Fish gelatin becomes difficult to set if boiled.
* The temperature at which it begins to set as it cools is around 18°C. It will not set at room temperature.
* When setting fruit juice, heat the fruit juice beforehand. The enzymes in the fruit juice may prevent it from setting.
