◆ What is Cerium Oxide?
A type of rare earth mineral (natural mineral). It has excellent UV scattering effects and protects the skin from UV-A, UV-B, and blue light reaching the surface of the skin. Compared to common UV reflectors like titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, it does not leave a white cast, making it blend seamlessly as a makeup base.

Blue light is emitted from displays such as smartphones and computers, as well as LED lighting. It has a wavelength close to ultraviolet rays and is said to be the "third type of ultraviolet light."
