The story features Kaito Miyachika, who, as the leader of the idol group Travis Japan—debuting globally—continues to excel not only in his activities but also as an actor, making his first leading role in a drama! He plays Seiji Akiyama, who is devoted to his childhood friend.

Meanwhile, Wakana Aoi, loved by a wide range of generations and a regular feature in popular works, embodies the lovable, down-to-earth heroine Koyori Hoshi, who is confused about her feelings for her precious childhood friend who has been with her since childhood.

【Synopsis】
Seiji Akiyama (Kaito Miyachika) and Koyori Hoshi (Wakana Aoi) have been childhood friends since before they could remember. During middle school, they each harbored feelings of love but suppressed them, continuing their close friendship. Currently, they work as planners at different game companies located in the same building.

One morning, Koyori wakes up to find Seiji beside her… and they are almost naked! In utter confusion, she recalls that the night before, after being dumped by her boyfriend and colleague Sosuke Yoshida (Junki Totsuka), who had been cheating on her, she drank with Seiji and ended up spending the night together. Realizing what she has done, she immediately apologizes with a bow.

Despite it being the weekend, Koyori hurriedly leaves her house and goes to the office. She is distracted even when spoken to by her colleague Yoriko Kihara (Maho Nami), her mind preoccupied with Seiji. She remembers how, when Seiji broke up with his then-girlfriend Fuu Saito, he stopped making eye contact with her, which she found "scary." That moment made her decide to maintain their relationship as *childhood friends—the safest and closest position*.

Later, after finishing a weekend shift and heading home, Koyori encounters Seiji waiting in the elevator hall of the building… also working on a weekend shift.
