怪奇現象へ立ち向かう少女たちのホラーアドベンチャー主人公「十六夜鈴」は地方のとあるお嬢様学校の箏曲部に所属する女子高生。同じ部の仲間と共に秋のコンクールに向けて合奏練習の真っ最中、彼女たちの身の回りで不可解な事件が起こり始める。
由緒ある女子校で囁かれる幽霊の噂彼女たちの通う学校には、その昔、女生徒同士が特別な“姉妹関係"を結ぶ奇妙な風習と、それによって引き裂かれた女生徒の幽霊が出る、という噂があった…。
怪奇事件を通して、次第に深まる少女たちの絆歯に衣着せぬ物言いで箏曲部の部員たちとギスギスした関係であった転校生、有華。さらには謎の怪奇現象との因果関係を疑われ孤立を深めていったが、主人公の友人の命を身を挺して救ったことがきっかけで仲間として受け入れられ、次第に強い友情で結ばれる。
