The Naked Hearts (LESRALLIZESDENUDES) / CITTA' 93 (3LP)
A 3-disc analog record album fully capturing a live performance is released! The Naked Hearts, who released three original albums in 1991, resumed live activities in 1993, reappearing before fans for the first time since 1988. Following their comeback live performance at Baus Theater on February 13th, their performance at CLUB CITTA' on the 17th, four days later, became one of the most remarkable performances in the history of The Naked Hearts and is still spoken of as a legend. The guitar volume, which surpassed the immense loudness they had produced in the past, shook the venue's doors, reportedly causing some audience members to evacuate to the lobby.
This performance, which showcased an astonishing display that vibrated the audience's entire senses, was recorded in its entirety by an 8-channel digital recorder.
This work recreates "something beyond sheer volume" that resonated that night as an album, through the dedicated mixing by Makoto Kubota, who reconstructed the sound based on multi-track audio sources secretly stored for nearly 30 years, along with recordings from the venue. You can experience the Naked Hearts' sound as it has never been heard before.
The members on that day were: Takashi Mizutani (Vo, G), Katsuhiko Ishii (G), Yozo Takahashi (B), Yukimichi Noma (Dr).
