At Legit Design, we designed the blank to be highly sensitive yet "bendable," a contradictory design that absorbs the sway caused by waves, allowing you to maintain bottom contact.
It also firmly withstands unexpected large fish with aramid reinforcement,
and features a delicate tip that can detect not only the "con" bite of a jig head but also a "swallow" bite, making it a boat ajing-specific rod.
In recent years, large horse mackerel called "Giga Aji," exceeding 40cm, have been caught in Tokyo Bay, and with this, vertical contact (bachikon) fishing has been gaining popularity.
To tackle these Giga Aji, we've installed a delicate solid tip made of 30t high-elasticity carbon with a tip diameter of 0.85mm.
It achieves excellent suction and is painted fluorescent yellow for high visibility day or night. Giga Aji fight with the same intensity as yellowtail, but their mouths are as soft as regular horse mackerel, so strenuous fights are prohibited.
The aramid fiber reinforced blank, a characteristic of the SKUAD, allows you to handle the intense fight from depths of 30-70m while being gentle on the mouth, always keeping the angler in control.
