Twenty years ago, Ganko Honpo's detergents revolutionized wastewater. With this new step, they have also significantly changed the "water" used during laundry.

It’s a magical "water" that prevents dirt from re-adhering to clothes after being removed. About 0.05 ml of this liquid—roughly 0.05 grams—turns 30 liters of laundry water into a magical water instantly. As a result, rinsing has finally become unnecessary.

◆ Why does dirt not re-adhere to fabric?

The answer lies in "polarity."

In this experiment, the anti-redeposition agent, a porous structured material, and fibers (cloth) tend to carry a negative charge.

Meanwhile, ink (dirt) in water carries a positive charge.

Normally, because fibers (-) and ink (+) have opposite polarities, they attract each other. However, the porous structured material reverses this relationship.

As shown in the experiment, when ink (+) is placed in water containing the porous material (-), the porous material attracts and surrounds the ink.

Consequently, the ink surrounded by the porous material (-) repels the negatively charged fibers and does not adhere.

In practice, using only the anti-redeposition agent requires about 3000 ml (10% of the water volume) for 30 liters of laundry. However, the amount of anti-redeposition agent in the detergent is less than 1%, or under 0.05 ml for 30 liters.

The effect is achieved with just 1/60,000 (one sixtieth thousandth) of the amount needed for pure anti-redeposition agent.
