・メーカー問わずどんな車でも、ラジエター本体の前部には電動ファンが装備されています。
電動ファンはラジエターに走行風が当たりづらい渋滞時の低速走行、暑い夏場の気温によりエンジンの熱で冷却水の温度が上昇することを防ぎ適正温度を保つために作動します。
通常水温が90～95℃より上昇すると、エンジン保護のためフェールセーフされ燃料増量や点火時期の遅角されます。
そのため電動ファンを作動させ、水温を安定させる事がとても大事になります。
・電動ファンコントローラーモジュールユニットが壊れますと、電動ファンが作動しなくなり水温が上昇しパワーダウンを起こしてエンジンが不調になります。
最悪な場合、冷却水の温度は高温になりオーバーヒートしてヘッドガスケット抜け等の故障の原因になります。
水温計がオーバーヒート気味でも冷却水の減少が無く、サーモスタットにも異常が見当たらない場合、電動ファンが回っていない可能性がありますので冷却系の点検が必要になります。
・交換作業は車両のカプラーを外して本品と取り換えるだけですので、DIY初心者の方でも簡単に作業することができます。
・純正パーツはコストがかかりますので、純正部品同等のリーズナブルな社外品を使用し早めの交換をお勧めします。
