**Features**
Athlete's foot and tinea are skin diseases caused by fungi (dermatophytes) called dermatophytes that infect and parasitize the outermost layer of the skin (stratum corneum). Lamisil Plus Cream contains terbinafine hydrochloride, an antifungal agent developed by Novartis in Switzerland, for the treatment of athlete's foot and tinea infections.

〔Features〕
- The active ingredient, terbinafine hydrochloride, exhibits excellent antifungal activity against dermatophytes and penetrates the stratum corneum. When applied once daily, the medication remains on the affected area, providing sustained effects to relieve symptoms such as itching and pain, and to cure the infection.
- Clotrimaton alleviates uncomfortable itching at the affected site.
- Glycyrrhetinic acid suppresses inflammation in the affected area.
- L-menthol provides a refreshing sensation during use.
- Urea improves dryness, cracking, and chapping caused by athlete's foot. It also softens the stratum corneum and facilitates drug penetration.
- The cream is non-sticky and has a smooth texture, recommended especially for erosive (weeping) or keratotic (scaly, cracked) lesions.

**Precautions — Things Not to Do**
(Doing so may worsen current symptoms or increase the risk of side effects)

1. Do not use if you have experienced hypersensitivity (e.g., rash, redness, itching, swelling) to this product.
2. Do not use on the following areas:
- Eyes, around the eyes, mucous membranes (e.g., mouth, nasal cavity, vagina), scrotum, or vulva.
- Eczema.
- Wet, oozing, cracked, or severely injured areas.

**Consultation Before Use**
1. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are:
- Under medical treatment.
- Pregnant or possibly pregnant.
- An infant or young child.
- Someone or their family has allergies.
- Have experienced allergic reactions to medications.
- The affected area is on the face or a large area.
- The affected area is pus-filled.
- It is unclear whether the condition is eczema or tinea (e.g., athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm).
*(If symptoms include itching or irritation in the scrotum, it is often due to other causes such as eczema.)*

2. Immediately discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist with this leaflet if any of the following occur:
- After application, symptoms such as:
- [Affected areas] : rash, redness, dermatitis, itching, swelling, sensation of irritation or heat, flaking or scaling (dandruff, skin peeling), erosion, dryness, tightness, or skin cracks.
- No improvement after about two weeks of use, or if symptoms worsen.

＜Precautions on Usage and Dosage＞
1. Strictly follow the prescribed method.
2. Do not use on dirty or contaminated skin or surrounding areas.
3. Avoid touching eyes or mucous membranes with the hands contaminated with the product.
4. Be careful not to get into the eyes. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water and seek ophthalmologic treatment promptly.
5. When used by children, use under the supervision and guidance of a guardian.
6. For external use only.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
1. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, tightly sealed.
2. Keep out of reach of children.
3. Do not transfer to other containers (may cause misuse or quality deterioration).
4. Do not use products past the expiration date. After opening, use as soon as possible within the expiration period.

＜How to open the tube＞
Turn the cap upside down, press the protrusion firmly against the tip of the tube to open.

＜Advice for Treating Athlete's Foot＞
The fungi (dermatophytes) causing athlete's foot and tinea often parasitize a larger area than the visible symptoms. It is recommended to apply the medication broadly over the affected area. Also, please note the following:
1. Continue treatment patiently even after symptoms such as itching disappear.
- Continue treatment diligently for about one month.
2. Keep the affected area clean.
- Wash thoroughly and keep the area clean to suppress fungal growth and prevent secondary infection.
- Wash hands and fingers thoroughly after applying the medication.
3. Keep the affected area dry.
- Fungi prefer moist environments. Dry the area well after bathing or sweating from sports.
- Avoid footwear and socks with poor ventilation; keep the area dry.
4. Keep footwear and accessories clean.
- Maintain cleanliness of shoes, socks, slippers, and bathroom mats to prevent infection.
- Moisture in shoes promotes athlete's foot. Rotate multiple pairs daily to keep them dry.
