【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn in one continuous stroke with a brush, without breaking the body, while wishing and praying. It is believed that this method ensures 『uninterrupted development and wealth』『endless connections for good relationships and growth』『continued protection and safety』. Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, the blessings and benefits of the dragon god have been highly revered, treasured, and passed down with faith.

【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught, believing it was his divine mission. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the dragon with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a concept of learning, detachment, and mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists believed to exist in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
