【What is Ichifude (One-stroke) Dragon?】As the name suggests, the body of the dragon is drawn in one continuous stroke with a brush, without interruption, while wishing and praying. It is believed to represent 'unbroken development and wealth,' 'endless good connections and growth,' and 'continued protection and safety.' Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, the protective and beneficial power of these dragons has been highly revered, worshiped as dragon gods, and their blessings have been passed down with faith.

【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, which he practiced from age 6, and learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Dragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and technique, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Dragons dating back to the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery). He is considered one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
