【What is Ichifude (One-stroke) Dragon?】As the name suggests, it is a dragon drawn with wishes and prayers, without breaking the body part, using a single brush stroke (Ichifude). 【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Dragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and technique, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Dragons dating back to the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
