【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn in one continuous stroke with a brush, without interruption, while wishing and praying. It is believed to represent 『unbroken development and financial luck』『endless connections for good relationships and growth』『continued protection and safety』. Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, it has been highly revered as a dragon deity, believed to bring strong blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully passed down.

【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique and was deeply impressed by its history and significance. Believing it to be his divine mission, he learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon that has been passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a concept of mastery and transcendence). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
