【What is Ichifude Dragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifude Dragon is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke (one stroke) that continuously connects the body part without interruption, while wishing and praying. 【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, through which he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifude Dragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the dragon with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
