【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifudragon is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke (one stroke) that unbrokenly encompasses the body, with wishes and prayers embedded. 【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifudragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and technique, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon dating back to the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
