【Kyoto Ichifude Ryu Artist / Keisuke Tejima】From childhood, captivated by dragons, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifude Ryu』 and was deeply impressed by its techniques and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Ryu dating back to the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifude Ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
