**[Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima]**Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, which teaches the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional "Ippitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Ippitsu Ryu that has been passed down since the Edo period, pursuing it with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists believed to exist in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by fortunate and inevitable encounters, and now, as if led by the dragon gods, he has established his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto—the ancient capital with a 1,000-year history.
