Kyoto Circuit Map PCB Art Bookmark is manufactured using industrial printed circuit boards.This bookmark is produced using the same materials, processes, and manufacturing methods as actual PCBs.To prevent damage to books, notebooks, and hands, 0.15mm of copper foil has been removed from the edges of the board.While the base material is 0.3mm thick, the total finished thickness is 0.45mm, including gold plating and double-sided resist ink with silk printing.
Using PCB-specific CAD software, not design software, each line is drawn meticulously with a mouse.The design features intricate wiring patterns as fine as 0.1mm.
The Kyoto Circuit Map design expresses famous structures and stations on a circuit board.It covers from Kinkaku-ji in the north, Jisho-ji in the east, Daikaku-ji in the west, to To-ji in the south.Names of temples, shrines, and structures such as Kyoto Imperial Palace, Nijo Castle, Heian Jingu, and Kiyomizu-dera are represented by three white silk characters (e.g., KYM = Kiyomizu-dera).Street names are also indicated with silk printing. Furthermore, the Gozan no Okuribi (Five Mountains Bonfire Festival) is depicted with gold plating.
The green, black, white, and pink colors are insulating inks that protect the circuit patterns.Incidentally, green resist ink is the most commonly used in Japan.Designed and manufactured in Japan, all products are RoHS compliant (lead-free).The circuit boards are gold-plated.
