Sōzen the Confectioner's "Tsuzure" are slightly thick arare (puffed rice crackers) made using traditional methods, individually wrapped like the warp threads of tsuzure weaving. Flavors include Uji matcha, Wasanbon and zarame made with Nanko ume, Kyoto shichimi, yuzu, mentaiko, black pepper, Kujo negi with Saikyo miso, black sesame, secret soy sauce, kinako, and roasted nori. These Kyoto arare, crafted with carefully selected ingredients, express the twelve months of Kyoto, beautifully changing with the seasons.
