The documentary film "Kururi no Eiga," which was released nationwide in theaters on October 13, 2023, is now available on package media. In addition to documentary footage capturing the moments when songs are created, the film also includes footage from the "Coffee House Shitone (Kyoto)" event held on February 28, 2023, featuring "Amagasaki no Uo," the first live performance of "California coconuts," and Kururi's debut and signature song "Tokyo." The package edition includes 6 live performance songs as bonus footage. In addition to the two songs, "LV69" and "Bara no Hana," from the Shitone 50th Anniversary performance, which were released as streaming bonuses at the time of the film's release, "River," "Niji," and "Yakou Ressha to Karasugari" have been added. Furthermore, "Sayonara Stranger," performed as an encore at the Zepp DiverCity TOKYO concert on December 23, 2023, is also included.
"Kururi no Eiga"A documentary closely following the album production process of the rock band "Kururi." Kururi was formed in 1996 by Shigeru Kishida, Seiji Sato, and Nobuyuki Mori, who were members of the Ritsumeikan University music circle "Rock Commune." In 2022, the original members, including Mori who left the band in 2002, gathered at a studio in Izu to begin production of the band's 14th album. The film showcases the music production process, which is rarely seen, by interweaving interviews with the members, footage from their time as original members, and live performances in Kyoto. The director is Gakuto Sado, known for documentary films such as Haruomi Hosono's "NO SMOKING" and "SAYONARA AMERICA," and Perfume's "WE ARE Perfume -WORLD TOUR 3rd DOCUMENT."
