Product Introduction
This soy sauce is made with carefully selected ingredients from Ibaraki, and is naturally fermented and aged for a long period in cedar vats, without cutting corners.
It is brewed using the "saishikomi" (double fermentation) method to achieve a balance of the original umami, aroma, and color of whole soybeans.
Please try this authentic soy sauce made by the long-established soy sauce maker, "Kurosawa Shoyu Ten." The salt content is 15%.
~History of Kurosawa Shoyu Ten~
Soy sauce brewing began in 1905. It started when Jin'emon Kurosawa of Hitachi Province, who was a grain merchant, used abundant ingredients to make soy sauce and miso.
The brewing process remains the same as it was in the past, with fermentation and slow brewing carried out by human hands and the work of microorganisms.
