・After use, soak the part containing ink in water and remove the ink with waste paper slightly moistened with water. Some ink will remain with this method, but it is necessary to devise a way to remove the ink while preserving the sharpness of the tip, so as not to damage the shape of the tip.
・If the brush dries with ink on it, the tip will not loosen easily the next time you use it. In such cases, rub it with solid soap on your hands. However, bristles are weak against alkaline substances like soap, so usually wash the brush with water.
・The protective cap that comes with the brush tip when purchased should be discarded after applying ink to the tip once. If you put the protective cap back on after washing the brush, moisture will not escape, which can cause rot, or the cap can pinch the bristles and damage the tip.
・When storing brushes for a long period, it is necessary to include moth repellents such as naphthalene. Air them out once or twice a year. Mold can grow, especially during the rainy season when humidity is high, so it is a good time to do this.
