A "chakoro" (tea incense burner) is an item used to create a space filled with the aroma of tea by heating tea leaves with the flame of a candle.The flame of a candle has a calming effect on the human mind, known as "1/f fluctuation."The concept behind "Chakoro Blend" is to create the ultimate relaxing space by combining the aroma of plants with the gentle flicker of a candle.
While the practice of using chakoro for relaxation is gradually spreading, most dedicated tea leaves for chakoro are either solely green tea or roasted tea, with few blended products available. After repeated trials and errors, sincerely herb, a herbal tea blender, developed this original blend specifically for chakoro.
There are currently four types of original chakoro blends.Among them, this blend, with the middle name "Sustainable Blend," is a new concept reflecting the current era.
Sustainable Blend [Kunpu]"Kunpu" refers to the refreshing south wind carrying the scent of grass and flowers in early summer.This blend, inspired by that image, focuses on sustainability and food loss by blending ingredients that were deemed non-standard due to irregular shapes and thus could not be sold for consumption. The aroma is exactly the same as regular products; these ingredients, which would have otherwise become fertilizer, are effectively utilized simply because of their irregular shapes.This blend uses domestically grown lemongrass and holy basil flowers that carried such a fate.Organic lemongrass from Takeo, Saga Prefecture, is greener than its overseas counterparts and carries a refreshing aroma like that of a real lemon. Simply inhaling this scent can refresh and soothe your mind.Holy basil "Kachya" cultivated on the shores of Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture emits a delicate fragrance unlike any other plant.The aroma emanating from the flowers of holy basil, distinct from its leaves and stems, creates a luxurious atmosphere.These two precious domestic herbs are blended with Uji stem tea as a base.Enjoy this luxurious and sustainable product to your heart's content, while being mindful of the SDGs.
