"Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang" is a Chinese herbal medicine recorded in the Chinese medical text "Neiwaishang Bianlun." "Neiwaishang Bianlun" was written by Li Dongyuan in 1247 AD (Southern Song Dynasty). During this period, social instability was common, and many illnesses were caused by mental stress and irregular lifestyles. Li Dongyuan, based on extensive study of classical medical texts and practical experience, believed that the spleen and stomach (digestive organs) play an important role in the body.
