It primarily records battles from the periods of Takeda Shingen and Katsuyori, along with military law and penal law.A colophon by Kanbei Obata dated the 9th year of Kan'ei (1632) is found at the end of Volume 10 of a manuscript copy of an old printed book, and records of its perusal date back to around the 12th and 13th years of Kan'ei.
