Designed to be lightweight and flat for easy installation on robots, it can be easily fixed using commercially available double-sided tape.
The MD-1 comes in two lineups:
- "RC Car ESC Specification" with brake & reverse, similar to general RC ESCs.
- "Neutral Brake Specification," suitable for robot and DIY/make modifications.
The RC Car ESC Specification operates in the same manner as typical ESCs:
- When the throttle on the transmitter is operated forward, the motor runs forward.
- Moving the throttle to reverse applies the brake.
- Returning the throttle to neutral and then pushing it again to reverse causes the motor to run in reverse.
