●The original comic "Kimi ni Todoke" is a popular work by Karuho Shiina, currently serialized in Bessatsu Margaret. It is a school youth story depicting the growth of the protagonist, Sawako Kuronuma, who has been avoided by those around her since childhood, as she experiences various things in high school, such as friendship, love, rivals, and unrequited love of friends. In addition to winning the 32nd Kodansha Manga Award for the shojo category, it won 1st place in the women's category in Takarajima-sha's "This Manga Is Amazing!" 2008 edition! Directed by Hiro Kaburagi of "Challengers." Series composition by Tomoko Konparu of "NANA" and "Nodame Cantabile," character design by Yuka Shibata, animation director of "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann," produced by a豪華 staff.
