The film "Killers of the Flower Moon" directed by Martin Scorsese was released nationwide on October 20. Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio), who moved to Oklahoma to rely on his influential uncle William Hale (Robert De Niro), a local power figure. Ernest falls in love with and marries Molly Kyle (Lily Gladstone), a woman from the Osage tribe, a Native American community living there, but mysterious serial murders begin to occur around them. As the town is engulfed in chaos and violence, investigators dispatched from Washington D.C. begin their investigation, but shocking truths are hidden behind these events—. This is the 11th collaboration between Robbie Robertson, who composed the music, and director Scorsese. Robbie Robertson passed away on August 9th at the age of 80, making this his final work. The album features all 15 tracks composed by Robbie Robertson, with the 15th track "Still Standing" featuring a soulful performance by Robbie himself. Robbie Robertson (July 5, 1943 – August 9, 2023) is a legendary figure in the music world, known as the guitarist of The Band. Born in Toronto, Canada, he began his music career in his teens. He became a backing musician for Bob Dylan and debuted with The Band in 1968 with "Music from Big Pink." They released many hits including "The Weight," influencing rock scenes worldwide, not just in America. Their disbandment concert on November 25, 1976, in San Francisco was made into the film "The Last Waltz" (1978) directed by Scorsese. He had a close relationship with Scorsese, just a year apart in age, and after the band disbanded, he demonstrated his talent in film music composition and supervision for movies such as "Carny," "Raging Bull," "Casino," "The Hustler 2," "The Wolf of Wall Street," and "The Irishman." Since 1987, he has also produced solo albums, including works themed around his Native American roots.
