This is a 4x concentrated soup base with 40% less salt (*1). It is a balanced blend of six types of domestic dashi: bonito, frigate tuna, tuna, sardine, shiitake mushroom, and kelp. We use twice the amount of freshly shaved bonito flakes (*2) to extract the dashi. By reducing salt by 40%, the luxurious umami of the dashi is enhanced.
