This live video work (Blu-ray/DVD) records the Nippon Budokan 2DAYS performances of "KIKKAWA KOJI 40th Anniversary Live," which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year and held 26 performances in 24 locations nationwide from October 5th, with all performances being sold out.
As it was a stage to commemorate the 40th anniversary, the setlist includes a rich variety of songs, from early songs like "You Gotta Chance ~Dance de Natsu wo Dakishimete~" and "LA VIE EN ROSE," to representative songs like "SPEED" and "Setsunasa wo Korosenai," and even popular COMPLEX songs like "Koi wo Tomenaide" and "GOOD SAVAGE."
There are also many special scenes unique to an anniversary live performance.
* "MAJESTIC BABY," where Kikkawa's gratitude to the audience and the audience's desire to celebrate the 40th anniversary together resonate through call and response.
* "Romeo no Nageki," a piano solo performance where you can fully enjoy Kikkawa's expressive singing voice of today.
* "Friday Night Review," performed with early footage projected.
* "El Dorado," performed with a giant K-mark LED light shining golden and the audience's wristbands twinkling like starlight.
* "Juicy Jungle," where the entire venue dances together.
* His signature cymbal kick also explodes.
* The dynamic band sound, honed through touring across the country, is also a major highlight.
* The band members are Shinichi Ubukata (Gt), Kenji Fujii (Gt), Koji Ueno (Ba), Masashi Minato (Dr), and Hoppy Kamiyama (Key), five musicians whom Kikkawa places immense trust in.
This live video work brilliantly captures the fervor and emotion of a space where indomitable fighting spirit, love, and gratitude coexist. It is a must-see for both those who attended the tour and those who could not.
Please note that this work will be released in both Blu-ray and DVD formats, as a limited production edition with a three-sided slipcase, digipak, 28-page full-color photo book, and 2 magnet sheets (all 20 original album titles + this work's jacket), as well as a regular edition.
