Ultraviolet light cannot be perceived by the human eye, but film and digital imaging sensors recognize and are sensitive to light outside visible light. By cutting ultraviolet light, it achieves a look close to the human eye.
Secondary effect: Lens protection
In addition to cutting ultraviolet light, it does not affect visible light, so it can also be used as a regular lens protection filter.
