Kenji Kawai, a composer with many passionate fans, has been responsible for soundtracks for numerous visual works spanning from anime to dramas, TV, movies, and beyond, crossing genres, media, and countries, including Japan and overseas.
Due to his prolific output, many of these works, although used in movies and broadcasts, have not been packaged as music products, and there is a constant demand for CD releases. Among these unissued CD works (including those released only digitally) composed by Kenji Kawai, over 220 songs totaling more than 450 minutes, written for NHK programs, are now being packaged together!
This vast collection of songs is organized by program and theme into three CDs and three titles, to be released bi-monthly starting in July!
● For the CD release, a new tactile remastering process was applied, and most of the tracks were remixed and re-recorded by Kenji Kawai himself.
● Uses Blu-spec CD format for clearer sound imaging.
● Includes song commentary.
