Clean your home with ethanol!
Cleaning with ethanol is basically as simple as spraying ethanol on the area you want to clean and wiping it with a cloth. It can be used in various places, and here are some examples.
Cooking Utensils
Spray disinfectant ethanol once on cutting boards and knives, let it sit for a while, and then use them as is.
There's no need to wipe, and it helps prevent mold and bacteria.
Kitchen Areas
Disinfectant ethanol is effective against grease, so it can also be used for cleaning around stoves and sinks. It easily removes grease and doesn't require a second wipe. It's convenient to have a dedicated ethanol spray bottle for the kitchen.
Bathroom
The pinkish slime that appears in bathrooms is a yeast called "Rhodotorula." It's not mold, but if left untreated, black mold can grow, so it's best to remove the pink slime while it's still pink. Experiments have shown that ethanol is more effective at removing this pink slime than baking soda or citric acid.
Electrical Appliances
As mentioned earlier, ethanol is harmless, making it perfect for cleaning the inside of refrigerators. It can also be used on electrical appliances such as TVs and computers. However, since electrical appliances are sensitive to water, dampen a cloth or paper with an appropriate amount of anhydrous ethanol and wipe. Please be sure to unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Other uses include spraying directly into shoe cabinets to prevent odors, a quick spray when polishing mirrors, and wiping the window sills where condensation tends to form. The uses are diverse.
