The youth detective drama "Keiji-kun," memorable for its opening line. Kenichi Sakuragi, who became a teen idol starring in the sports drama "Judo Ichiban," plays the protagonist Tetsuo Migami. The growth of rookie detective Tetsuo Migami is depicted in a drama that combines elements of youth and family drama, enjoyable for both adults and children, and became a major hit. From 1971 to 1976, a total of four series were produced and broadcast over five years (the lead actor for the final fourth series was Masato Hoshi). This is the first-ever soundtrack album to completely collect the theme song and background music (original BGM) for each series, sourced from existing music master tapes. This CD, "Keiji-kun [Series 1] Music File," completely covers the theme song "Concrete Jungle" in its three existing TV size versions (the version used in the opening sequence has not had its sound source discovered), the full size for single records, karaoke, and melody karaoke, as well as the existing background music (original BGM) recorded three times for the first series, all on two CDs. The background music created for this first series was also used in the second and third series.
