The prototype is a common type found at Shinkansen stations, characterized by a high canopy similar to existing suburban station platforms, where the canopy structure also serves as a beam for overhead line suspension.
By combining with new optional products, it is possible to reproduce platform doors installed on the platform and to illuminate the platform. This is ideal for recreating modern urban station platforms.
A current-carrying rail for platform lighting is built inside, hidden from view. By connecting platforms with unijoiners, lighting can be incorporated and lit even when multiple products are connected. Platform ends are connected using S-joiners, and conversion joiners are included with the platform products.
The platform is realistically reproduced with a recessed space under the platform, tactile paving, and various accessories.
The total length of the platform section for all products is 248mm per piece, and the platform ends are 200mm.
Both the 23-160/161 Suburban Station Platform DX Island/Opposing Type Sets use longer platform ends. The total length of the platform in one set is 896mm (200mm + 248mm + 248mm + 200mm), which can accommodate a 6-car train.
Includes a sticker sheet with information for inside the platform and station signs.
