幅広の前面ステップに、内バメ式テールライト、前面通風口、切り抜き文字ナンバーを再現。
1000番台の特徴である賑やかなスカート周りのジャンパ栓も再現。 別パーツのジャンパ栓 (ホース)が付属。
交流電気機関車ならではの屋根上配線を再現。屋根上碍子は白色。
前面窓ガラス/側面明かり窓のHゴムはグレー。 デフロスター (曇り止め)装備の前面窓、乗務員室側窓はオリジナルの形態を再現。
スロットレスモーターの採用で、さらにスムーズかつ静粛な走行性を実現。
アーノルドカプラー標準装備。交換用ナックルカプラー付属。
選択式ナンバープレート:「1004」「1008」「1011」「1014」 /メーカーズプレート:「日立」「東芝」。
