平成21年 (2009)以降に換装された強化形スカートを再現。
郡山車両センターへの検査入場車両の特徴であるライトグレーで塗装された床下機器を再現。
付属編成セット (5両)はワンマン対応改造が施工され、先頭車にホーム位置検知装置を取り付けた形態を再現。
スロットレスモーターの採用で、さらにスムースかつ静粛な走行性を実現。
各先頭車ともヘッドライト/テールライト点灯。消灯スイッチ付 (クハE530-3を除く)。
各車とも連結部はボディマウント密連カプラー (フック無)を採用。クハE530-3の先頭部のみダミーカプラー採用。
